PURBECK councillor Ben Wilson has been appointed to the Dorset Council Cabinet post for Corporate Development, Transformation, Digital and Change.
The move follows the resignation of Wareham councillor Ryan Holloway, for 'personal reasons' although Cllr Holloway continues to serve as a Lib Dem councillors.
The announcement comes from council leader Nick Ireland who says Cllr Wilson will bring his professional experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant to the role.

"Ben will bring his experience of effective programme leadership and the challenges faced within the transformation environment to his new role on the Dorset Council cabinet," said Cllr Ireland.
His role will start with immediate effect.
