Two men have been arrested in relation to vehicle crime in Dorchester - taking the total to eight in the last week.
Officers from Dorchester Response White Team made the arrests while making arrest enquiries last night in the town.
It follows on from six arrests that were made last week after a spate of incidents in the area when stolen vehicles were recovered and returned to their respective owners.

As reported, residents in the Cambridge Road area of the county town have been left too scared to leave their homes after shocking CCTV footage emerged of a gang of people opening cars.
The latest arrests come after police said they were stepping up patrols after residents reported break-ins, as well as vandalism, with some cars in the area being keyed.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Officers from Dorchester Response #WhiteTeam have been making arrest enquiries this evening in relation to ongoing reports of vehicle crime in Dorchester.
"Two further males have been arrested this evening as a result of ongoing enquires which have recently been made by the Neighbourhood Policing Team. Both males remain in police custody.

"Please continue to report your concerns to us so we can take the appropriate action and direct our patrols accordingly.
"The majority of vehicles that have recently been targeted have been left insecure. Please remember to ensure vehicles are locked and all valuables are removed (including keys).
