HUNDREDS of people turned out to see a thrilling fireworks finale in Dorchester.
They attended the town fireworks display at Dorchester Rugby Club, which also featured food and drink stalls, rides and rugby fun for youngsters.
The conditions were ideal for the Guy Fawkes celebration, held aptly on November 5, with the weather unseasonably mild and remaining dry.
The fireworks, due to start at 7.30pm, wowed the crowds in fashionably late style at 7.50pm.

They were worth waiting for - the skies above Dorchester were lit up for more than 20 minutes with dazzling explosions of colour.
The finale of the display drew a large round of applause from satisfied crowds.
