A circuit failure is causing delays this morning for trains travelling between Castle Cary and Yeovil Junction.
South Western Railway lines are affected, with trains running at a reduced speed between Castle Cary and Yeovil Junction.
The disruption is expected to last until noon today.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "We have been informed that there is a track circuit failure between Castle Cary and Yeovil Junction. This means that trains will have to run at a reduced speed between these stations.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
