Police are continuing to investigate a fight which broke out between a group of youths which saw a girl ‘hit to the ground.’
The incident took place at Monmouth Road, Dorchester and police are still appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
It is reported that at approximately 5.15pm on Monday, October 7, a fight occurred involving a group of young people, both male and female.
During the incident, it is reported that a female member of the group was hit to the ground.
Officers attended and carried out an area search, but nobody was located.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police has confirmed that enquiries into this incident remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.
As reported by the Echo, Police Constable Ben Hannigan, of Dorchester police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident, but so far, we have not been able to identify anyone involved.
“I am appealing to anyone with information about what happened to please come forward so we can ensure any appropriate action is taken.
“Finally, I would ask residents in the area or any motorists travelling with a dashcam to please check their footage for anything of relevance that may assist my investigation.”
