A fire which saw a car engulfed by flames is being treated as potential arson.
Firefighters from Dorchester rushed to the large fire in Middle Farm Way, Poundbury.
Smoke could be seen pouring from the vehicle as crews worked on putting the fire out.
Once the blaze was extinguished using two hose reel jets, firefighters passed on information to the police ‘as it was believed to have been started deliberately.’
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.
As reported by the Echo, the fire occurred on October 26 at around 9.36pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers attended and upon arrival it was reported that the fire had been extinguished.
"It was further reported that the fire was believed to have been started deliberately."
