Police are continuing to investigate an incident which saw officers respond to reports of a man making threats over the telephone.
Once officers, armed police and the ambulance staff arrived at the address in Mitchell Street, Weymouth, it was further reported that a man had made threats to harm police officers and ambulance staff.
As reported by the Echo, a man was arrested in connection with the incident on Monday, October 21, and has since been released on bail as investigations continued.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said revealed that enquiries are ongoing at this time.
