An author from Weymouth will be discussing areas of his childhood in an upcoming talk.
The South Dorset group of the Somerset & Dorset Family History Society will hold its next meeting on Friday, November 15 at 2.30pm.
It will feature local author Eddie Prowse who collects old postcards, prints, photographs and memorabilia of Weymouth and the surrounding area pre-1960s.
He will share his own experience growing up in the Park District as well as exploring the history of the area.
It will take place at the society’s usual meeting spot of St, Aldhelm's Church Centre on Spa Road in Weymouth, DT3 5EW.
The meeting will be preceded by tea and coffee.
Cost of admission is £2 for society members and £3 for non-members.
