Another man has been in arrested in relation to two designer watches being stolen from a car in Dorchester.
Police launched a CCTV appeal after a vehicle was broken into on Celtic Crescent, and a 28-year-old man from Dorchester has been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods.
He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
Two watches, described as a women’s Rolex and a Tag Heuer watch, were allegedly stolen from inside the car between 11pm on Thursday, October 24 and and 5.25am on Friday, October 25.
Attempts were made by the alleged offenders to sell the watches at a jewellers in the town, but they were unsuccessful after staff at the shop became suspicious and the whereabouts of the watches are unknown.
A 28-year-old man of no fixed abode was previously arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and was released on police bail.
