Residents in Weymouth have been facing problems with their water pressure.
Southill residents were hit with problems to water pressure in their homes from around 4.15pm today.
In the area around Belgrave, it was reported that some residents were preparing sandbags as water came out from a manhole down the street.
Locals had been noticing low water pressure in the area, before it eased around 6pm.
One Southill resident said: "I lost some of my water pressure, but I spoke to neighbours who had lost a lot more of their pressure and were only getting a small trickle out of their taps.
"It seemed to be because of some sort of leak, with a water streaming from a manhole onto the streets. It seems to be all over now."
