A broken down lorry caused disruption to rush hour commuters this morning.
The lorry reportedly broke down on the A354 Relief Road between Weymouth to Dorchester at around 7am this morning.
Police were quick to arrive on the scene, and put down cones and warning signs to alert motorists of the lorry blocking the road.
As a result, traffic in the area increased for commuters travelling north on their way to work.
According to police, the council was notified, and the vehicle was recovered at 10.20am.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 7am on Thursday 31 October 2024, we received a report of a broken-down lorry blocking a lane of traffic on the A354 Weymouth Relief Road.
“The local authority were notified and the lorry was recovered at around 10.20am.”
