Homeowners across Dorset have been getting creative with some ghoulish Halloween displays.

As the big day finally arrives, residents have been pulling out all the stops in a spooktacular attempt to bring the magic of Halloween to life.

There are plenty of terrifically terrifying scenes to drive by or visit if you’re taking your children trick or treating.

Gemma Groves captured a brilliant photo of a house on Grovesnor Crescent Dorchester which has been all out decorated with skeletons, cobwebs, and gravestones in an amazing undead display.

Portland residents have also been getting creative and one house in particular has gone above and beyond as two terrifying witches guard the door of the porch which is covered in huge cobwebs and spiders.

West Dorset locals have also been joining in the fun and hanging out of the window of one Bridport home is a bloody body bag, whilst thick cobwebs cover the outside shrubbery.
