Roadworks along a section of a main Weymouth route have been postponed.
Essential sewer works on Radipole Lane near to the junction with Sutcliffe Avenue, Southill, will no longer take place on Tuesday, November 5.
A message was sent out to nearby residents saying: “Our work planned for road closure on Radipole Lane and Sutcliffe Avenue between 9.30am and 12.30pm on November 5 has been postponed. We’ll contact you soon to advise of a new scheduled date.”

The road was set to be closed for an approximate distance of 28.7 metres, with a large diversion route has been put in place, suggesting that drivers wishing to get to the other side of the closure should go along the Causeway, then to School Hill, then along the B3157 Chickerell Road and then on to Radipole Lane and vice versa.
