A section of a main Weymouth route will close for one day.
Radipole Lane will shut near to the junction with Sutcliffe Avenue, Southill, due to essential sewer works which are being carried out by Wessex Water on Tuesday, November 5, from 9.30am-12.30pm.
A large diversion route has been put in place, suggesting that drivers wishing to get to the other side of the closure should go along the Causeway, then to School Hill, then along the B3157 Chickerell Road and then on to Radipole Lane and vice versa.
Radipole Lane will only be closed for an approximate distance of 28.7 metres and efforts will be made to maintain pedestrian access through the works.
Alternative routes will be signposted whilst the road closure is in place.
