There has been an attempted burglary at an Argos store near Sherborne.
At around 5.25am yesterday morning, Dorset Police received a report that a light-blue Seat Salsa car had collided with the wall of the Argos store at the Peel Centre on Babylon Hill, near Yeovil.
The offenders subsequently did not manage to gain entry to the store and fled the scene shortly afterwards.
Officers investigating the attempted burglary are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Police constable Jack White, of Dorset Police, said: “I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with relevant information that might assist our investigation.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was near the store and witnessed any suspicious activity at the time of the incident, as well as any motorists driving in the area of Babylon Hill who may have captured relevant footage on their dashcams.”
