A man has been arrested after possessing around 50 wraps of a class A drug and a knife.
Plain clothed officers observed what they believed was a male in a suspected drug deal near Lower St Alban Street in Weymouth yesterday afternoon.
Following a short foot chase, uniform officers located the male and he was arrested.
Subsequently, the police recovered around 50 wraps of a class A drug, as well as a knife and other items that the police believed were involved in drug supply.
A wrap of drugs is a piece of paper or tissue that is used to roll or fold powdered or crushed drugs together for ingestion.
