A special fundraising gala will be held to celebrate 40 years of local arts.
Dorchester Arts is marking its 40th anniversary with a gala event filled with wine, music, dancing, auction prizes and more.
It will be held at the organisation's usual venue of the Corn Corn Exchange on High East Street, Dorchester at 7pm on Friday, November 8.
Guests can look forward to a evening that includes a welcome glass of Cuvee, a dinner with wine, an auction, live music and dancing and more.
The funds raised will support the ongoing work of Dorchester Arts.
The organisation is a registered charity that began at The Grove in 1984 and has since grown to run its own venue at the Corn Exchange, presenting a year-round programme of performing arts across Dorset.
Jacky Thorne, fundraising manager, said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses and supporters who have donated fantastic items and experiences for our auction and raffle.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to what promises to be an evening to remember.”
Tickets cost £50 per person and are available to buy on the Dorchester Arts website.
