Two massive cruise ships have called into Portland Port bringing in thousands of passengers.
The Msc Virtuosa and Rotterdam called into the port this morning (Tuesday, October 15) bringing in up to 2,662 and 4,842 people respectively.
The MSC Virtuosa spans an impressive 331m and has 16 decks, complete with a water park and a casino. She sails under the flag of Malta and is on her way to Brest in France tomorrow.
Onboard the Rotterdam, guests are treated to a variety of offers musical activities, with a B.B. King Blues Club and a Rolling Stone Rock Room for its guests.
The ship, which is due to sail to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow, sails under the flag of the Netherlands, and is the sister ship to both the MS Koningsdam and the MS Nieuw Statendam.
Built in 2021 the MS Rotterdam was christened in the city it was named after by Princess Margriet of the Netherlands in May last year.
