A society is offering people the chance to learn more about planning changes in a free talk.
Weymouth Civic Society is welcoming Hilary Jordan, head of planning policy at Dorset Council, to give a talk titled Towards a new Dorset Local Plan: Implications of Government Planning Guidance changes and for adoption of Weymouth Community Plan.
The talk will take place on Thursday, October 17 at Pilgrim House, Hope Square, Weymouth.
There’s no charge for this talk and it’s open to both members and non-members. Donations to the work of Weymouth Civic Society are welcome.
Refreshments available from 6.30pm, with the talk starting at 7pm.
Later in the month, the Chair of Weymouth Museum Trust, Marcia Headon, will give a talk to the society titled Weymouth Museum: Its Collection and Prospects.
