A church will welcome a composer and organ player for a concert.
Simon Clarkson will perform the second of three Autumn Organ Recitals scheduled by the All Saints’ Church on Portland Road in Weymouth.
The performance will take place on Friday, October 18 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Mr Clarkson, who is well-known to All Saints concert-goers, contributes to the weekly recital series at Sherborne Abbey, and plays with several ensembles in the South West.
His performances have been heard on BBC Radio 3, and he remains active as a composer and re-arranger. He will be performing a varied programme of music on the church’s 1884 Henry Jones organ.
Entry to the concert is £6, with children under 16 going free. Refreshments will be available from the cash bar.
