A MAN has been reported for drug offences after police found white powder which is believed to be cocaine.
Whilst on patrol in Shaftesbury on Friday afternoon, police stopped a man in what they described as "suspicious circumstances".
A spokesperson for North Dorset Police said: "Whilst on patrol in Shaftesbury, the Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by Special Constables, noticed a male in suspicious circumstances.
A stop search was conducted and a small quantity of white powder believed to be cocaine was located on the male.
"He is known to the police and has been reported for drug offences."
