POLICE and paramedics rushed to a medical emergency on Portland last night.
Four police cars, including officers from Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), Weymouth Response, and Firearms assisted with a medical emergency near Priory Corner, Portland on Friday evening.
Attending officers located a male in need of medical assistance, and gave advanced first-aid care.
At around midnight, police confirmed they had handed the patient over to the South West Ambulance Service.
A police spokesperson said: "We wish him a speedy recovery."
Dorset Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for more information.
