POLICE seized a car from suspected rogue traders in Littlemoor.
Neighbourhood Officers were on patrol in the Littlemoor area when they noticed a group of males acting suspiciously.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "It transpired the group had travelled down to Weymouth to carry out remedial work to a roof nearby.
"They were believed to be rogue traders overcharging for their work.
"The driver of the vehicle did not have valid insurance for his work vehicle and it was subsequently seized under 165 Road Traffic Act.
"Please remain vigilant about arranging for contractors to attend to your home address and report any concerns to police or trading standards."
