To many, the pub is a social hotspot and a place that people head to during the autumn and winter season to enjoy a pint in cosy surroundings.
Dorset has a vast array of brilliant pubs, and we asked our readers for their recommendations on the best cosy pubs.
Firm favourites were The Cove House Inn, Portland, The Lugger Inn, Chickerell and The Smugglers Inn, Osmington.
The Smugglers Inn on the other hand has a four-star Tripadvisor score and is described as having ‘friendly staff’ and ‘delicious food.’
Likewise, The Cove House Inn also boasts a four-star Tripadvisor rating and is described as having ‘a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with ‘scrumptious food.’
