The Zombie apocalypse is on its way to Dorchester and it looks like they have overrun the prison.
There is no need to panic - it is just a new immersive event coming to the town.
The former Dorchester Prison is the latest venue for Zombie Infection, a company that runs the 'end of the world simulations' across the country.
Groups of 30 survivors will be split into smaller teams to take on the hordes across two hours.
The latest addition to their repertoire of venues now includes the former prison site and already has two dates in the diary.
On Saturday, October 19 and Saturday December 7, the company is hosting its auditions between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
Successful candidates will then be asked to stay behind and join the army of the undead at its evening events.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Our experience offering will see guests armed up with the latest weaponry.
"No plastic guns here, you'll find only solid metal rifles and awesome kick back pistols in our lockup.
"Our professionally trained stunt actors (in full film realistic SFX makeup & costume) will then taunt you through our intricate chapter based story.
"On the way you'll be challenged to solve puzzles, save survivors, make life defining decisions (who to save and who not too) and escape in one piece."
The company has been putting on events all over the country for almost 10 years and has won awards for its events.
Dorchester was chosen after the company had huge success at the former Shepton Mallett prison, and the company hope to introduce more dates in 2025 until the site is redeveloped.
The spokesperson added: "Zombie Infection are taking the fight to Dorchester Prison, this new event format will have you choosing a side and racing to save your own around this huge complex. Sports halls, towers, medical bays, prison cells, chapels, workshops and more.
"Take the wrong turn and you'll be lost in hell as this event doesn't just contain basic infected, we have a few surprises lined up."
