Police have confirmed that a missing teenager from Dorchester has been found.
Luke Cousins, aged 17, was reported missing having last seen at around 6.30pm on Thursday evening in St Georges Road.
A police appeal was subsequently launched to try and locate him.
The NPAS police helicopter was also sent to the Dorchester area at 9.55pm to help find the missing person.
Officers have now confirmed the teenager has been found.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: Officers searching for a missing teenager from Dorchester are pleased to confirm he has been found.
"Luke Cousins was last seen on Thursday, October 10 in St Georges Road, Dorchester.
"Following enquiries, Luke has been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and provided information."
A spokesperson for NPAS said: "At 9.55pm on Thursday, October 10, the crew was deployed to the Dorchester area to assist in the search for a high risk missing person. Total flying time was one hour and 47 minutes."
