New lights have been installed at Victorian shelters along the Weymouth seafront.
The seven grade 2 listed shelters on the promenade from the King's Statue to the Pavilion now feature now lighting.
Palm trees and flower beds have also been lit up.
The downlighters are fitted to the ceiling of each of the shelters, with most of the wiring hidden from view.
A spokesperson for Weymouth Town Council said: "Have you noticed the additions to our seafront lighting?
"All seven shelters on the Prom have had new lighting installed and the palm trees in the flower beds are also lit up - from the King’s Statue down to the Pavilion."
The lights were previously installed in the ground at each of the shelters, but these are no longer working and councillors thought they were no longer thought to be sensible when future repairs and maintenance were considered.
