A car caught fire on a Portland road, sparking an emergency response.
The car caught fire at Haylands, on Portland, at just past 12.30pm yesterday.
Smoke can be seen pouring from the front of the vehicle.
A fire crew from Portland was called to the scene.
The blaze was extinguished using two breathing apparatus wearers and a hose reel jet.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Control spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.38pm yesterday (October 7) to an incident at Haylands, Portland with reports of a car fire.
"One crew from Portland attended where two breathing apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."
The stop message, meaning that the situation is under control and no further resources are needed, was given at 1.20pm.
