A 16-year-old boy has been issued with a warning notice after riding a motorcycle in an 'anti-social' manner.
Police received reports of the behaviour across areas of Poundbury on Sunday afternoon (October 6.)
A 16-year-old, local to the area, was identified following enquiries and was issued with a Section 59 warning notice.
A Section 59 can be issued in the event that an officer in uniform has reasonable grounds for believing that a motor vehicle has been driven in a careless and inconsiderate or anti-social manner.
If the rider, driver or same vehicle is stopped and issued with a second Section 59 notice within a year, then the vehicle can be seized.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report of a motorcycle being ridden anti-socially in the Poundbury area.
“As a result of enquiries, a 16 year-old local male has been issued with a Section 59 Warning Notice.
“Please continue to report your concerns to us so we can take the appropriate action and direct our patrols accordingly.”
