WHILST I support the idea of Marks & Spencer opening a store at Weymouth Gateway, I think it is unfortunate if we lose their food outlet from the town centre.

It would be good to hear that they were going to take over a smaller unit which would be a Marks & Spencer Food Hall only.
I suspect it would be profitable and other businesses might gain from the continued foot fall.
I also believe some residents and visitors to Dorchester would like to see something similar return to the South Street area.
