IT’S full steam ahead as modellers gear up for a major railway showcase.

Weymouth Model Railway Association’s Annual Exhibition will this year be on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3.

Layouts of all sizes and gauges in a range of settings with both steam and diesel traction running will be on show, and there will be a range of demonstrations.

Visitors can expect layouts from club members as well as visiting modellers.

As always there will also be a number of traders selling books, models and other railway memorabilia, plus refreshments available - including Sunday roast dinners.

The venue will again be Weymouth College in Cranford Avenue where the exhibition was held for the first time last year - and was said to be a success with more than 500 people of all ages visiting over two days.
