One neighbour saw the incident take place after their neighbour informed them of the fire, and came out to see the response from the community.

She said: "It’s shocking and harrowing to see but I contacted a nearby paramedic who lives close to us, and some ladies from Weldmar came out and went to get wet towels and other things to support as best they could.

“Everyone did what they could to pull together- I’ve seen people I never saw before on this street helping out.”
