A new gift shop selling handmade treasures and upcycled furniture is set to open today.
Pimped Emporium Of Treasures will be based at 3 St Alban Street in Weymouth town centre.
The shop aims to give old furniture, utensils and clothing a new lease of life. Items such as cutlery have been transformed into sturdy coat hooks, keyrings, bracelets and wind chimes.
Having started trading online Weymouth resident Kayt Matthews, is excited to share her revamped treasures with the town.

She said: "I've always changed and updated everything I've bought. I’ve made wooden gifts over the years and I have been trading online. Now I decided it’s the time to put together a shop myself, that offers upcycled furniture and rescued clothing.
"If something is broken, I aim to fix it. Anything that is out of date I try to reuse, to make it into something more relevant and interesting."
