A large fireworks display, linked to Netflix filming, lit up Portland Harbour last night.

The fireworks were heard across Weymouth and Portland, lighting up the harbour in an impressive and colourful display.

A warning had been issued prior to the fireworks by Portland Port, taking place in the Portland Inner Harbour.

Each display was planned to take place for up to five minutes.

They were initially planned for Tuesday, October 1, between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, but were delayed due to the weather

It is understood that these displays are linked to the filming of ‘The Woman in Cabin 10,’ which sees Keira Knightley take on the lead role of a travel journalist.

They were conducted from Quest 2 and a temporary exclusion zone was in place with a radius of 250 metres centred on Quest 2.

It has also been revealed that a star-studded cast will be joining Keira Knightley, including Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham and Memento’s Guy Pearce.
