A driver has been reported to the court and their uninsured car was seized by police.
Police on Portland were on patrol yesterday afternoon (October 2) when they saw the uninsured car.
Upon putting it through the system, its insurance was found to have last been insured in May.

A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "Portland Neighbourhood Patrol Team were on patrol this afternoon when we checked this little Fiesta through our computer systems.
"The last day of valid insurance was shown as being in May.
"The driver has been reported to the court, and the car seized under the Road Traffic Act.
"If you are not sure you have car insurance, web search "Ask MIB". You can check your car for free."
