Weymouth's Dusk Til Dark show has been hailed as a 'magical' moment for the town.

The streets were light up for two evenings over the weekend as a mesmerising display of light, music, and community togetherness filled the town..

The event, in its fourth year, once again demonstrated Weymouth's vibrant cultural scene, drawing visitors from near and far to experience its unique charm.

Dawn Rondeau-Irvine, chief operations officer at We Are Weymouth, said: “This year’s Dusk Til Dark exceeded all expectations.

"It’s been amazing to witness the streets of Weymouth filled with light, music, and community spirit.

"The world premiere of ‘Fireflies’ was a standout moment, and we’re proud to have hosted such a magical event.”

The highlight of the weekend was the world premiere of 'Fireflies' on Saturday, September 28, along Weymouth Esplanade, which included students from Weymouth College.

Seth Turner-Higgins, head of creative industries, Weymouth College, added: “Students enjoyed two days of workshops, culminating with participation in the live event in Weymouth town centre on Saturday evening.

"Experiences that allow students to  engage with industry professionals, when they can learn new skills and broaden their understanding, are invaluable. We are really grateful to have been offered this opportunity.”
