Coastguard teams leapt into action after a person sustained a leg injury on a path near Lulworth Cove.
Rescue teams from Kimmeridge and Lulworth stretchered the injured individual to safety at a near by coastguard truck with the help of Lulworth and Durdle Door Rangers, before handing them over to paramedics.
The incident happened on Sunday, September 22, but the information has only just been released by the coastguard.
A spokesperson for Kimmeridge Coastguard said: "Both Kimmeridge and Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team tasked to Lulworth Cove to a casualty with a leg injury.
"Coastguards located the casualty on the path between Lulworth cove and Durdle Door carpark, with Lulworth and Durdle Door Rangers assisting them. Teams carried out casualty care till the arrival of south western ambulance service.
"Teams helped the casualty into an alpine stretcher and moved them to an awaiting coastguard 4x4 for the small trip to the ambulance.
"Teams then stood down and returned to station."
