A car has collided with a deer along the road between Dorchester and Wool, which had caused heavy traffic in the area.
Traffic was slow on the A352 in both directions from the A353, Warmell Cross to Roman Hill Business Park after the collision at around 10.30am this morning.
There were no reported injuries to any people and the condition of the deer is unknown.
The road has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 10.24am of a collision on the A352 at Broadmayne involving a car and a deer.
"There were no reports of any people injured. The road was cleared and police left the scene at around 10.55am."
