Officers have urged the public to report any potential drug drivers.
Dorset Police has released a post on social media, alerting the public to the severe penalties and risks that can result from drug driving.
A spokesperson said: "Drug driving increases your chances of being involved in a collision.
"If you are convicted of drink or drug driving, you could receive a minimum 12 month driving ban, a criminal record, an unlimited fine or up to 6 months in prison.
"The maximum penalty for causing death by dangerous driving while under the influence of drink or drugs is life in prison.
"If you suspect someone may be drug driving, please report it to us. If it’s happening now, call 999 immediately.
"Otherwise, report information either anonymously, to the independent charity Crimestoppers online https://orlo.uk/Crimestoppers_KMgTe or by calling 0800 555111"
