The largest amount of cruise ship passengers this season have arrived at Portland Port.
It is understood that the MSC Virtuosa is the cruise ship with the highest number of passengers to dock in the port this year, with a grand total of 4,700 on board.
Although, it has the potential to carry 6,334 guests and an additional 1,704 crew members.
The ship spans an impressive 331m and has 16 decks, complete with a water park and a casino.
If you think that was impressive, the ship is also home to Rob, the first ever humanoid robotic bartender at sea.
There are five impressive pools onboard for guests to enjoy, a kids club area which is partnered with the LEGO group, a yacht club complete with a solarium and whirlpool baths, as well as a spa and wellness facility.
A spokesperson for Portland Port said: “The ship has about 4,700 passengers on board which is the most that any cruise ship has brought in so far this season. The Sun Princess which visited earlier this week was the biggest in terms of size.”
MSC Virtuosa sails under the flag of Malta and sailed into Portland Port from Cobh, Ireland this morning.
