A caravan fire has blocked a major Dorset route this afternoon.
The incident has caused heavy traffic on the A31 Ringwood Road near St Leonards.
Police are currently in attendance with the fire service and local authority.
The road is currently closed between the Azalea roundabout and the Boundary Lane roundabout.
The westbound side of the road is expected to be closed for some time so road repairs can take place.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wilshire Fire and Rescue said: "The A31 near Ringwood is currently closed in both directions between the Boundary Lane Roundabout and the Woolsbridge Roundabout due to a large vehicle fire. Please avoid the area.
"The road closure is between Azalea Roundabout and Boundary Roundabout. Westbound is likely to be closed for some time for highway repairs to take place."
