Officers searching for a missing man with links to Weymouth are pleased to confirm he has been found.
Michael Moorbey, 72, was reported missing having last been seen at an address in Coed Eva, Cwmbran at around 11pm on Monday, September 23,
He has links to the south west of England, particularly Weymouth, and police believed he may have been travelling in that direction by train.
Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has now been located.
A spokesperson for Heddlu Gwent Police said: "We recently appealed for information to find Michael Moorbey from Cwmbran who had been reported as missing.
"He has since been found.
"Thanks for sharing our appeal."
