There will be major disruption on the trains this week as engineering works begin.
Trains will not run between Weymouth and Castle Cary, which will affect commuters on the Great Western Railway service heading in the direction of Yeovil and Bristol.
The engineering works are taking place all week from today (September 23) – Friday (September 27).
Replacement buses will run from Castle Cary to Yeovil Pen Mill to Dorchester West to Weymouth.
An additional replacement bus will run from Castle Cary to Yeovil Pen Mill to Thornford to Yetminster to Chetnole to Maiden Newton to Dorchester West to Weymouth.
At Upwey, buses towards Weymouth will stop to set down passengers only and buses towards Castle Cary will stop to pick up passengers only.
Passengers travelling between Upwey and Weymouth should use scheduled rail services operated by South Western Railway (SWR).
People are advised to check their journey before travelling at nationalrail.co.uk.
