A large fire is understood to have happened at a property in Weymouth last night.
The blaze was reportedly at around 8pm on Derby Street in the Park District.
Firefighters were seen in attendance.
Lee Dolbear lives in the area. He said: "It was a violent fire with flames billowing out.
"There was a clear presence of smoke in the air, I wasn't sure what was going on.
"The heat from the it billowed out with the flames. I looked up and I thought 'oh my god'."
Mr Dolbear says he saw firefighters enter the building with hoses.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report from the fire service at around 8.20pm on Friday, September 20 of a fire at an address in Derby Street in Weymouth.
"Officers attended to assist the fire service. There are no reports of any injuries."
