An empty Dorset building has sold at auction.
A Westham property which is made up of two flats has sold for its guide price of £200,000
The vacant freehold building at 4 Longcroft Road was among 180 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers in the firm’s September auction.
Joe Rocks, an auction appraiser with the regional land and property auctioneers, said: “The property went for the guide price, with the final bid coming in at £200,000.
“Currently comprising two self-contained flats, including a bedroom and bathroom each, it is ideal for investors looking to add to their income-producing portfolio or potentially could be converted back to a standard house, subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.
“However, we are not privy to any plans the new owner may or may not have.”
It is unknown what the new owner of the building plans to do with it, although Mr Rocks added: “The estimated rental value is £16,800 per annum.”
Another familiar property which is up for auction sits on the corner of Chickerell Road and Prince of Wales Road near to Asda.
The property is set out across three floors and the ground floor has previously been used as a commercial space.
The home has a guide price of £140,000 - £150,000 and is available to bid on from October 30 – November 1.
