MORE Dorchester business premises are likely to be converted into homes – following a trend which started after Covid.

Most of the properties involved will return, if approved, to what they started out as - residential properties.

The two latest planning applications include former offices in High West Street and what was once a small shop, also used as offices, in Icen Way.

Several properties in High West Street are already being converted to flats with a recent application for a former estate agent’s to be converted into a home for teenagers in the care of Dorset Council.

Comments on that proposal remain open until the end of the month.
