A historian will be exploring the history of a picturesque path in Dorset.
The Dorchester and District Gardening Club has invited local historian and senior archaeologist Steve Wallis to give a talk at St George's Church Hall, Fordington High Street, Dorchester.
It will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, October 2.
The talk will delve into the history and iconic features of the River Frome which flows for some 35 miles from Evershot, in the high chalk downland north of Dorchester, to Poole Harbour near Wareham.
Doors for the talk open at 7.15pm. Entry is free for members and costs £4 for visitors on the door.
There is also a bring and buy stall and a draw, with tea, coffee and biscuits also available after the talk.
