Ironman got underway in Dorset early this morning.
Athletes from across the world have descended on the streets and seas of Weymouth today to compete in the ultimate test of endurance.
The first leg saw swimmers take on a course off Greenhill around 7am before beginning the cycle ride, then a half marathon.
The first athlete crossed the finish line at Weymouth Pavilion shortly after 11am.
