An impressive bonfire night firework display is set to return.
The annual Guy Fawkes night firework display and beach bonfire will return to Weymouth on Tuesday, November 5.
Cllr Jon Orrell, Mayor of Weymouth, said: “Weymouth seafront will be busy with people coming to see the fantastic firework display, so this is the perfect opportunity to be part of the event and trade on the promenade ahead of the beach bonfire being lit and the spectacular show illuminating the bay at 8pm.”
Timings for the evening are as follows:
- 5pm – Food traders on the Promenade
- 7.40pm – Beach bonfire is lit
- 8pm – Fireworks start from a vessel in Weymouth Bay
Weymouth Town Council are also on the lookout for traders to pitch up a stall on the Promenade during the evening,
Applications must be completed no later than 12pm on Tuesday, October 8.

Prices are based on a 4m x 3m pitch:
Hot food sellers – £105.00 including VAT
Other food/drinks sellers – £75.00 including VAT
Trade pitches – £55.00 including VAT
