A special concert will be held in Weymouth as a popular national classical music event draws to a close.
Weymouth Concert Brass will be playing music associated with the Last Night of the Proms - a musical party held at the Royal Albert Hall in London and broadcast live by the BBC to millions of viewers worldwide.
While the actual Proms takes place on Saturday, September 14, Weymouth will be holding its own version at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 28.
Traditional British songs such as Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem will fill the church.
Audiences are also invited to sing along and wave flags to the patriotic music of the Proms finale.
Tickets £12 on the door or £10 by contacting Pete on 01305812637
